The Princess Royal was in Cumbria yesterday, visiting a @newbalanceuk factory, Barrow foodbank, Project John and @savethechildrenuk.
HRH, President of the UK Fashion and Textile Association, was at the New Balance factory in Flimsby as part of association’s ‘Let’s Make It Here’ initiative, which celebrates British-made materials. After learning about the shoe-making process, The Princess was given her own ‘HRH’ trainers, made by skilled craftspeople at the Cumbrian factory.
At Barrow foodbank HRH met volunteers and found out more about how the organisation helps people.
The Princess Royal also spent time at youth housing charity and advice drop-in centre Project John where HRH opened the charity’s new hub, as well as visiting a Save the Children shop in Cumbria

On Tuesday, The Princess Royal spent the day in Derbyshire where, as President of three different organisations, she marked three anniversaries - The Carer's Trust, Riding for the Disabled Association and a sailing club.
The Princess Royal presented rosettes to riders and volunteers, and long-service awards to ponies, Zilka, Taffy, Millie and Sally at Riding for the Disabled Association. The organisation is celebrating 40 years since they were established.
HRH also visited the Derbyshire Carer’s Association to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The Princess spoke with young carers, staff members, carers and trustees. The charity offer emotional and practical support for carers.
Finally, HRH cut a cake at Toddbrook sailing Club, to mark their 60th anniversary. During the visit The Princess Royal watched a team race and met instructors, supporters and sailors.

Today, His Royal Highness @hrhthedukeofyork presented Operational Medals to 90 officers and soldiers of the 2nd Battalion of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
HRH has been Royal Colonel of The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland since its amalgamation into the The Scots in 2006
Her Majesty The Queen is the Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Today’s parade took place at Glencourse Barracks in Penicuik and during the parade, HRH inspected members of 2 SCOTS, as well as Corporal Cruachan IV, the regimental mascot, and the Pipers and Drums of the 2nd Battalion.

Today The Duchess of Rothesay, (as The Duchess of Cornwall is known in Scotland), Chancellor of @uniofaberdeen, visited the university and awarded an Honorary Degree to Edward Stevenson. 
Edward has worked in the University’s biomedical physics department for 42 years and supported the pioneering team that created the world’s first clinical MRI scanner.
Her Royal Highness met students Karolina Kania and Jessica McClure at the research lab at the Centre for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Health. 
The Duchess has served as Chancellor of the University since 2013 and also Presided over the installation of the new Vice Chancellor today.  PA @clarencehouse

The Duchess of Sussex today made her first visit as Patron to Mayhew, an animal welfare charity working to better the lives of cats, dogs and communities in London and beyond.
Mayhew has offered a rehoming service for the last 130 years for rescued animals. Their work, however, now extends beyond this. 
For instance, the charity’s community vet clinic in London looks to provide low-cost preventative treatment. Mayhew also provide services internationally, in Afghanistan, Georgia Russia and India.

Today The Duchess of Cambridge  visited the volunteer-led King Henry’s Walk Garden in London, which includes growing plots for cultivation by local residents, areas of communally-maintained planting to provide space to sit and relax, a pond, and a small woodland area. More on @kensingtonroyal. 
It was announced this morning that The Duchess of Cambridge, the Royal Horticultural Society and landscape architects Davies White will design and build the 2019 RHS Garden at the #chelseaflowershow.

On Friday, The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay (The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall as known when Their Royal Highnesses are in Scotland) visited The Fife Arms in Braemar, Aberdeenshire, to mark the inn’s re-opening.
Dating back to 1856, The Fife Arms is located in the village of Braemar, home of the Highland Games.
The new inn brings together Scottish heritage, craftsmanship and culture and one of the rooms is decorated with artwork by Gideon Summerfield, a graduate of the @RoyalDrawingSchool.
The Duke and Duchess often visit local communities when in residence at Birkhall, their Scottish home.
