Segmentasi pasar bisa juga diartikan sebagai pengidentifikasian analisis perbedaan para pembeli. Di bawah ini ada beberapa jenis segmentasi pasar yang wajib Anda ketahui:

1. Geographic
Pada segmentasi ini, dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian geografis seperti desa, wilayah, kota, dan Negara. Pilihlah daerah geografi yang potensial dan menguntungkan untuk target operasi perusahan. Contohnya adalah merek air minum terkenal seperti Aqua. Di segmentasi geografisnya, Aqua menujukan semua pasar yang ada di wilayah Indonesia. Tidak hanya di perkotaan, tapi kita juga bisa menemukan produk Aqua di pinggiran kota, bahkan pedesaan.

2. Psycographic

Sebagai contoh produk Starbucks yang biasa dibeli segolongan konsumen golongan ekonomi atas untuk mendapatkan experience lebih jika mengonsumsi kopi Starbucks dibandingkan kopi biasa di café-café lain. Mereka menginginkan kopi  yang memiliki nilai prestise dan mampu menunjukkan prestise mereka.

3. Behavioral
Pada segmentasi kebiasaan ini dapat dilihat dari pengetahuan, sikap, loyalitas, pembelian, serta reaksi konsumen terhadap suatu produk. Seperti kebiasaan membeli, mengkonsumsi, dan sebagainya. Contohnya adalah pengguna, pengguna potensial, pengguna pertama kali, pengguna biasa, bekas pengguna, dan lain-lain.

4. Demographic
Pada segmentasi ini yang berarti membagi kelompok-kelompok pasar berdasarkan, umur, jenis kelamin, suku, tingkat ekonomi, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan lain-lain. Пишу я на обыденном языке обычно, и не буду отходить от кассы далеко.
️Сегменты (#marketsegmentation)- первая ошибка, продающих услуги, это вечное лавирование в одном потоке, у крупных компаний этого...НЕТ️
Например The Coca-Cola Company охватывает весь контингент потенциальных клиентов, и мальчик - школьник может пить их напиток и топ-менеджер любит VSOP с колой.
Единственное ограничение их рекламной деятельности - это их прямой конкурент PepsiCo, первые работают на традиции и семейные ценности, вторые на интересы молодёжи, и договор этот был принят в судебном порядке, а не по их толерантности к друг другу.
В фитнесе сегмент - это обеспеченность и платёжеспособность и это...вторая ошибка️ единственный сегмент, представляемый Вами - это КАЧЕСТВО услуг, реализация его с точки зрения слоёв общества - это маркетинг. Чувствуется разница?

️Предложение и спрос (#supplyanddemand)- самая интересная вещь. Известна Вам фраза: «спрос рождает предложение»? Да? А почему Вы ее не учитываете? Объясню.
«Я предлагаю Вам зажигалку, отличную качественную зажигалку, ведь Вы заядлый курильщик.» - обычно
«Вы курите?, -да. - тогда я предлагаю Вам замечательную зажигалку» - реже.
В первом случае, Вы продавливаете преложение, а в конце слабо аргументируете его констатацией факта, часто вызывающей нервные припадки. Во втором, Вы заводите диалог, тем самым создавая, сначала СПРОС, и только лишь потом, в соответсвии с ходом диалога, ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЕ.
Фитнес️ Не «Купите у меня тренировки потому, что Вы в плохой форме» (предложение - констатация, как следствие), а
«Вынужден отметить, что Вы не в лучшей форме, поэтому с радостью помогу Вам» (спрос - предложение, как следствие спроса)

People love knowing that you recognize them as individuals and that their business is sincerely appreciated. Surprisingly most businesses still don't get this or how to do this. It doesn’t mean you have to place complimentary bottles of Ruinart in each room – a simple gesture like a personalized welcome note can go a long way. If you had just a simple CRM system in place, you could also show returning guests how much you value them by referencing a request from their previous trip and asking if you can assist with something similar. This gesture immediately shows your guests that they are not “just another number” in your establishment.

Your marketing strategy should hugely reflect this.... learn about your customers and provide them with relevant information, which they will connect and engage with

 Laying a strong foundation is going to allow you to build a sturdy marketing plan.⠀

 Throwing down a shoddy (or no) foundation is going to lead to marketing that makes no sense, is wasteful, and does not obtain your goals.⠀

2.	MARKET PENETRATION⠀
WHAT: A measure of the amount of sales or adoption of a product or service compared to the total theoretical market for that product or service.⠀
HOW IT’S USED: A MARKET PENETRATION STRATEGY focuses on selling more of a company’s existing products or services in its existing markets to gain a greater MARKET SHARE.⠀

3.	MARKET SEGMENTATION⠀
WHAT: The activity of dividing a broad consumer or business market, typically consisting of existing and potential customers, into sub-groups of consumers based on some type of shared characteristics. The segments contain consumers who will respond in a similar manner to particular marketing strategies.⠀
HOW IT’S USED: Companies use the segments to create marketing materials that will appeal to the consumers in the segment.⠀

تعریف بخش بندی بازار (از نگاه فیلیپ کاتلر)

در بخش بندی بازار (Market Segmentation)، یک بازار را به بخش‌هایی با تعریف  تقسیم می‌کنیم.

یک بخش (یا سگمنت) گروهی از مشتریان هستند که مجموعه نیازها و خواسته های مشابهی دارند.

وظیفه‌ی بازاریاب این است که تعداد بخش‌های مناسب برای بخش بندی بازار را یافته و ویژگی های هر بخش را تشخیص دهد.

سپس تصمیم بگیرد که می‌خواهد کدام بخش‌ها را هدف قرار دهد (هدف گذاری بازار یا Targeting). کاتلر، فلسفه‌ی تقسیم بندی بازار را هدف گذاری می‌داند. یعنی بازار را بخش بندی می‌کنیم تا تصمیم بگیریم کدام بخش‌ها مشتری ما باشند و کدام بخش‌ها را نمی‌خواهیم در دایره‌ی مشتریان بالقوه خود در نظر بگیریم.
