This is it! Last week was the halfway point of training for the May 5th marathon. Apart from some abysmal winter conditions and last week’s knee scare, things are looking good! Today’s Key1 was 10-20 min warmup, 2 sets of 6x 400m (2:05 each) and 1:30Cooper YMCA
Today’s run was so genuinely horrible, I HAD to follow it up with some weights. The Key2 run I followed was 1 mile easy tempo (10:55), 6 miles long pace (9:40), and 1 mile easy. I was worried the distance would be iffy, since my lower hamstring/innerLincoln, Nebraska
Another 18 miler is dunzo! Temps were much warmer than last week but we did get snowed on most of the time. I'm calling this run a WIN though! Everything clicked and felt strong! I ️ it when that happens. But Utah, seriously, we're ready for SpringAmerican Fork, Utah
