Thanks to all the ladies who came to Patagonia with me. I had so much fun exploring it all again with you - the nights we squealed with delight while taking star photos, the way it somehow never rained on us, the feeling of accomplishment each day, and the inside jokes we now share. These trips are so amazing to be a part of. I only have it in me to do 3 per year due to all the planning and organization but I wish I could do them all the time! Can’t wait for Iceland (link in bio) #BMTMAdventures (: @ashleycook62)

@mylifesatravelmovie Wowww!! Wish I knew how to make my camera do this!!

All smiles after walking next to the Grey Glacier all day. Doing the O circuit twice now - over 80 miles and 9 days - was a beautiful reminder of how truly amazing this part of the world is. The glaciers, the mountains, and all the drama in the landscape. It’s nearly indescribable. Taken on international women’s day on the #BMTMAdventures trip in Patagonia. Swipe to see my awesome group of badass fellow hikers whose company made me smile and laugh all day every day to the point that my cheeks hurt and I have better abs now (: @oraz55)

That’s a wrap on another incredible #BMTMadventures trip! It was an honor to bring a group of women to the place where I grew into a more capable, outdoorsy person myself years ago. Patagonia challenged me and taught me to love the elements, whatever they may be. Watching as our group powered through the O circuit full of laughs and no silly competitiveness nor drama made me fall in love with it all over again. Thanks for the memories girls. I’ll never forget these two weeks with you! (: @runningglass)

The moments when you know something has shifted and you’re not the same woman anymore. You’re on the other side of your comfort zone and it feels so damn good. That’s where the real magic happens - right on the edge. Can’t wait for more moments like this in Galapagos in October. Want to feel the shift? Come with me. Half the spots are left. Link in bio. Here’s to the things you never thought you’d do. Years ago I thought my friends who went on multi day hikes were insane and never thought I’d be able to do it. In Patagonia, where I am now, I backpacked for the first time and fell in love with it. I got to be in the beautiful wild outdoors and disconnect from technology. Returning renewed and relaxed, empowered by my experience in nature. Now I’m doing the same with 16 women in Patagonia. How crazy is life? In July I’m taking a group of women who want to be changed, challenged, and renewed on a hiking trip in Iceland that NatGeo ranked in its top 20 hikes in the world. When we’re not hiking we’re chasing waterfalls and soaking in hot springs. It doesn’t get better. See the link in my bio to join. (: @mksm)

Happy international women's day! Today I'm in Patagonia celebrating with 16 amazing women by hiking the 9-day O circuit in Patagonia. Here's a throwback from one of the hardest trails I've done, at a moment when I seriously wanted to cry and give up. The only thing keeping me going was the fact that there was no other option. And yet I look back on it and feel proud that I did it, and even entertain doing it again, because it made me realize what I am capable of. What moment was that for you? Hit the link in my bio for one of my favorite articles I've ever written - 25 Promises for All the Single Ladies Who Travel. (: @backpackersteve)

I grew up here and never went to this park until last week. I had no idea it was so beautiful and never appreciated it growing up. I couldn’t wait to leave! How many super blooms did I miss growing up before they were a ‘thing’? I’m coming to appreciate it more in adulthood. There’s a beautiful and ornate Hindu temple here, a Buddhist temple with Thai street food on the weekends, and I think Snoop Dogg still lives here? here’s to glowing up, Chino Hills

No poppies were harmed in the making of these photos. You can always get photos from a trail (which is cleverly hidden in these photos) and never have to step on grass or flowers. If you go to see the poppies, which are in a super bloom from the rain, my pro tip is the best blooms are the furthest in. Thanks for the awesome pics bro @aarontannenbaum and thanks for scoping it out mom @pysankylady

@mylifesatravelmovie Love the disclaimer lol

I’ve been feeling a bit conflicted about posting the exact location of natural places on Instagram given overtourism. On one hand it’s annoying when I want to find a place and it’s not geotagged, on the other, how will we ever stumble upon anything or have unique adventures anymore otherwise? I do always share locations on the blog, where I also include important info about how to respect nature and also tips on where to stay and eat etc. I figure those who do the research and read the posts deserve to know. What do you guys think?
